I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.
— Oscar Wilde

Theatre invites participants to find a balance between self-expression and listening to others. Participants can learn about the rich diversity of humanity, and also about the common ties that unite us in the experience of being human. It encourages us to understand perspectives beyond our own and inspires empathy within ourselves.

By supporting the mental wellbeing of these children and young people we can help them to cultivate their vision for the future and help them to re-enter communities as contributing members of society and culture. In the theatre workshops the children can experience belonging to a supportive group and adults caring about their happiness, their dreams, and their future.
